I've made multiple stops here and have tried a few different sandwiches, but the BLT is a favorite. Not sure if potato salad is still on the menu but remember it being yummy as well. Bonus points for outdoor seating!

Grace and the entire Fat Shallot team were a delight to work with. We had the Fat Shallot food truck cater our wedding welcome reception. We chose the “Unlimited” option which included three sliders (we chose buffalo chicken, truffle BLT, and grilled cheese) and two sides (truffle fries, and traditional fries) and every option was delicious. There was more than enough food for all of our 110 guests and there were even leftovers. Leading up to the event, Grace and her team accommodated all dietary restrictions and even ensured all options could be done in a gluten free format. We would 10000% recommend the Fat Shallot food truck for any catering event.

I had the hot chicken sandwich with truffle fries. Absolutely delish and the sandwich is HUGE, crispy and tangy. The fries were very tasty and the sauce was perfect for dipping. Very cozy atmosphere with inside and outside seating. Friendly staff. The menu is not overpowering which I appreciated. Six sandwiches on the menu from what I recall which I think is a smart move.

I got to attend a graduation party at The Fat Shallot and it was really nice. The catered food made by the restaurant was good. I had the fries and chicken tenders. All were very tasty. There were also burgers I didn't have one but everyone that had a burger or chicken sandwich said they were good and tasty. The open bar was nice the Tito's was smooth and I had a good time. There was a DJ and enough room on the bar floor for dancing and there was a television with sports on for the sports watchers. I also saw patio outdoors seating out back. They had two restrooms and they appeared clean for patrons. The waitstaff and bartender were all friendly and just very nice.

Still love this place. We come here for trivia almost every time they have it. Vibes are always immaculate. We always run into the owner and his family, and he's super nice. The patio is incredible.

Last night we lost (after winning the previous time, but it's good to be humbled on occasion lol). But, I thoroughly enjoyed my free grilled cheese sandwich that I won as our previous trivia night prize. Sandwiches really are their specialty. Perfectly greasy, and the caramlized onions and spinach really elevated it. Another person in our group had the turkey on a pretzel bun and said it was amazing.

Also, a great range of drink options. Always a good time, and I'm excited to come to one of their mahjong gatherings, since I recently learned how to play.

Great burgers, chicken fingers, fries, and salad. We went here with the kiddos before heading out to the park. Everything was delicious, friendly atmosphere, and I love that it's not a big name chain.

Stopped in for lunch on a whim. The service was friendly, attentive, and patient. Focused menu and very well curated selection of beers. I ordered the truffle BLT and the ingredients were fresh, with generous bacon and the right amount of truffle flavor. The back patio is a true oasis in Evanston. I am looking forward to returning!

Oh yeah, this place was legit AMAZING!
If you want to bite into a delicious, real burger, this is the place for you!
Even the chicken parm was to die for (if I was on death row, I’d request about… 14 burgers and 10 chicken parms- sorry not sorry)
Definitely recommend for a chill night out with friends or a silly little date out! Heck, even a family affair!

So whatever you do, please… go here for some of the greatest food ever!!

This place is awesomely good and chill - genuinely helpful staff - the burger and grilled cheese were good and the house fries, chicken tortilla soup and cheese curds were awesome!
