We ordered Truffle BLTs (x6), Turkey sandwiches (x6), and Tomato Mozz (x3) -- which, by the way, looked like a still life painting from an Italian renaissance master (think Titian, but if Titian wasn't a Freemason) who had suddenly discovered ciabatta bread and gone mad with joy.
The Truffle BLT caused one coworker to whisper, "I think I'm emotional," while another declared it "the John Ritter of sandwiches." If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know, you're beyond my help.
The Turkey sandwich? Let's just say if all turkey sandwiches tasted like this, Thanksgiving would be a much higher-stakes emotional holiday. Families would fight for leftovers with the intensity of an Eyes Wide Shut costume party.
And the Tomato Mozz? A poem -- but not the kind I studied at Oral Roberts. More like a poem written by someone who had actual life experiences. It balanced me emotionally in a way that my wives should take notes on.
Five stars. Six, if Yelp would let me.
